The Bleurgh Ribcage

Submitted by Matthew on Mon, 2009-08-03 17:04

The background of this website, which is also used in the site logo, is a rendering of a chaotic attractor, made using a piece of software called Chaoscope (http://www.chaoscope.org/). In this particular case, it's a variation on one of the sample projects, but with some different seeds used. Sadly for posterity, the project file didn't save (thank you Vista...), so I haven't the faintest idea what the seed numbers were...

Nevertheless, I still think it's a gorgeous image, and when making this site, it seemed to fit with my ideas for it - a chaotic attraction created of random bits!
